From Plot to Plate

How to get started

Join us on relaxed day of learning where we’ll look at the basics behind successful veg growing – including ground preparation, creating your own compost, sowing and planting a variety of vegetables, general maintenance and crop rotation.

Throughout the day you will test your own soil, learn what to prioritise to suit your own space and needs, create an organic feed and sow some seeds to take away and enjoy this Summer. Alongside this we will share our top tips on how to get the most from your harvest with some simple recipes you can make time and time again with vegetables you have grown from seed.

You will have worked up an appetite during the morning and we can relax over a lunch prepared by Andy of ‘Papaya’ Catering
