Flowering from March onwards, the azure blue flowers attract so many comments from visitors. Bees seek them out as a vital early spring food source and the distinct steel-blue pollen can be seen clearly on honey bee legs-  much like 1980’s leg warmers. Added bonus that rabbits, squirrels and deer avoid them. Large bulb size 7/8
