Caroline has been a garden writer for over 20 years, and is regularly published in magazines such as Gardens Illustrated and House & Garden. As well as being a lifelong gardener, she also founded the Verde Flower Co, a cut flower farm based near Durham.

On this workshop Caroline will show you how to break free of conventional ways of writing about green space, whether that’s a garden, a yard-en, an allotment or the weedy cracks in the pavement outside your back door. By exploring all the other senses used to experience nature other than the purely visual, you’ll be able to redefine what the natural world means in your life, work or art, and harness the words to bring it into focus.
