During this workshop you will transform your redundant glossy homes and gardens magazines into one of these artistic wise owls using only tightly scrunched paper and tape. You will learn a variety of different techniques and examine shape, form and balance to create your own eco-friendly owl ornaments.
All materials will be provided and no previous experience is necessary. You are encouraged to bring along any images of owls you have in mind.
Sarah started her career at the London College of Printing, graduating in 1989.Following a period of work in Andalucia, Spain in the early 1990’s she began experimenting with papier mache and sculptural forms inspired by the various fiestas held throughout the year in different parts of the country. Since then, paper, wire, found objects and other things together with popular folklore and a desire to make you smile at the familiar or ordinary made different have been central to her work.
